Welcome Back!

We are thrilled to welcome you back to Wallingford Babybar in person for both our social sessions and 1-2-1 consultations.

Our trained peer supporters can help with most issues but for more specialist support

we offer consultations with Karen our infant feeding specialist. These are now face to face on Thursdays. Karen can help with more complex feeding issues and questions, please let us know what your concerns are, together we'll sort them out.

The consultations take place in the main space, one of the team will have a chat and Karen makes her way round while you relax with a cuppa and a cake.

Social Sessions

We are running a two hour long session every Thursday morning. These are staffed by our wonderful peer supporters who can chat with you about general feeding issues and baby concerns such as weaning, going back to work and sleep.

Each session starts at 10am and there is no need to book, just drop in - we'll look forward to welcoming you with a hot drink and a slice of something yummy.

As a charity all our support is completely free - yes even the cake!

Keeping everyone safe

Wallingford Babybar is committed to making you feel relaxed and comfortable during your time with us. Throughout the pandemic your safety has been our priority and while we move back towards normal we are still taking the following precautions:

  • A session will be 2 hours long, you can arrive at anytime during those two hours

  • Regular cleaning will take place and hand sanitiser made readily available

  • Beanbags/ shared surfaces and touchpoints will all be cleaned before and after sessions. We ask you to wear a mask when entering, exiting or moving around Babybar

  • We will adhere to '1m plus' social distancing inside the building

  • Should we need to be closer, for example during a consultation or while observing a feed, we will be wearing facemasks and asking you to do the same

  • Doors will remain open to allow for air flow, best to bring an extra layer for you and baby
